I just read a recent blog posting from a friend that suggested approaching life’s challenges as an experiment. Hence giving our minds a another approach to see our challenges as an opportunity to learn or do things differently instead of our usual way of stress and worry.
Sooooo “No worries mate” ........
We had a grand New Years celebration with Steve’s son Erich, my daughter Olivia, our neighbor’s Jennie and John and our dear friends from Italy, Julia and Vincenzo. We all stayed up well into the wee hours, ending our evening sitting by the pool around a fire pit, that was so cool! Steve even shot off his antique cannon – several times! I am sure the neighbors appreciated those celebratory bangs!
January 6th my sister Abbi and her friend Deb flew in from Ohio and just left a few days ago. We celebrated our birthdays Abbi the 8th, Deb the 15th and mine the 24th. We also went to the Dry Tortugas and enjoyed blue skies, good snorkeling and ocean breezes, a beautiful spot about 70 miles off of Key West Fl.
We send love to all from our little piece of paradise in (mostly?) warm and sunny Florida.
Cheers to 2011!!!
Another picture from Tom of Equus in Kodiak Ak – burr she looks cold!
