Well actually the horse pasture and no, not us – Erich and Rosalie will be taking their vows on July 3rd at half past six o’clock in the evening on the front lawn i.e. horse pasture of his mothers (Hannah and Tom’s) home in Huron Ohio, a beautiful location.
Erich is the youngest of Steve and Hannah’s children and working on becoming an Independent Movie Producer in LA and his intelligent, beautiful wife to be is working on her thesis for her PHD from DePaul and now is part of the faculty of Loyola Marymount University in LA.
They both bring many diverse and positive attributes as they go forward to build a new life together.
Weddings create an opportunity to think about our commitments to life, to our selected partners, ourselves and to what we currently hold dear and near to our hearts.
With time on my hands as we are driving North from Florida to celebrate in this event and to also spend time with family and friends, I humor such thoughts.
Jacob and his children are spending many hours/days at my Mother’s new home we redid the first of this year. It is a nice little home that will serve us well for years to come; already the walls are bound with love and laughter.
As life ebbs and flows many things change, my son will be dissolving a 15 year marriage and Steve’s son’s a wedding? Life gives and takes away, bad things happen to good people yadda yadda yadda. So we celebrate the start of a new journey and the end of another. The good news is with the love and support of each other life's challenges are eased and hopefully all will adjust well and look fwd to many new beginnings.
We then leave on the 4th of July for our journey to Kodiak, AK, and the best news about this long 14 + hour plane ride is we are in company of Stephen Jr., Christie, Abe and Ruby, they are all coming to enjoy an Alaskan adventure on board our good ship Equus.
“Life is good!” --We send our love and summer greetings to you all….
